“I’m from Vietnam, but when I come here, that’s the first thing I come here is South Bend. But when I just got here in 1981, it’s not like here now. There are a lot of foreigners, but when I came, there was hardly no foreigners…I like it here a lot because the kids kinda change me too because I just look and sometimes think of my kids. I make sure they have good food. I got a couple students they were like—I kind of remind them of their mom.”
